​Hello my name is Angela Wagenblast and I am a Bernerholic……

My first Bernese was born in November 1988 and we picked her up in January 1989 at 8 weeks of age and have had Bernese ever since!! I enjoy showing in conformation and obedience and participating in draft, have tried agility, rally, tracking, herding and even dock diving with my dogs.

My first litter arrived in 1994. Wagenblast Kennel has produced and or been home to many conformation Champions as well as Best in Specialty, Best in Sieger, Best Veteran in Specialty, Best Puppy in Sweeps winners, multi group placing and dogs in the top 5 for conformation and obedience, tracking, and rally in Canada. Dogs of my breeding have also been successful in herding and therapy work.

I have organized, ran and or stewarded at many sieger shows/evaluations since 1999 and have done evaluations for the BMDCA at the National Specialty. This has given me the opportunity to work with sooo many knowledgeable breeders!!! I have had the honour of judging Puppy and Veteran Sweeps for the Three Rivers Bernese Mountain Dog Club and the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of South Eastern Wisconsin and was honoured to have been asked to allow my name to appear on the ballot for Futurity classes at the US National Specialty.

I am so thrilled about my assignment as Puppy and Veteran Sweeps judge for the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of South Western Ontario Specialty in June of 2017.
